Cher Lloyd and Juliet Simms are BOTH going to be performing in Singapore! On the same night! Is this for real?
And best of all, it’s on this thing called the PANDA ROCK OUT CONCERT. Which is the… “official opening of the Chengdu Pambassador 2012 Asia-Pacific regional semi-finals”, according to lifestyleasia.com
I’ve been a fan of Juliet Simms since her Automatic Loveletter days. I mean, Hush? Makeup Smeared Eyes? Those are almost perfect for me and my emo tendencies now, imagine just how perfect they were during my true emo phase. The aptness of those songs transcended perfection for me then, I should think. Check her out.
And Cher Lloyd? She is so freaking kickass and beautiful. AND she can sing, which would be more obvious if she would stop coming up with trashy songs. Yet somehow her trashy songs have some kind of charm to them. Like in a I-know-pretentious-self-proclaimed-audiophiles-are-gonna-hate-on-my-music-and-declare-me-a-non-musician-but-i-don’t-give-a-fuck-blow-me. It’s very in-your-face and I love it.
PLUS it’s a panda-themed concert? You have to dress in black and white to gain admittance apparently HA. Normally I would think these sort of things ridiculous BUT IT’S PANDAS. They’re so unabashed about being ridiculous that nothing about them is ridiculous anymore.
I would go, but it seems to be a first-come-first-serve basis and I’m not going to queue with crazy panda fanatics. So boo. Times like this I wish I had media leverage!
